茶室に必要な掛け軸や花を柄に配し、この箱だけで茶のお手前ができる”世界一小さな茶室”をコンセプトに遠州流茶道宗家と制作した茶箱。禅語「明珠在掌」手のひらの中に宝がある、という言葉からイメージし、日常の何気ない大切な風景を宝尽くしの文様に入れ込みました。銀座三越にて販売。

I designed tea box for Japanese traditional tea ceremony. Image from Buddhism words ”Myoju tanagokoro ni ari” (Treasures are in your hand). Things commonly seen in daily life are drawn in squares of the Japanese traditional pattern.
